    I cannot seem to get my amiko box connected to my dreamdroid app, after I enter the amiko IP address into the dreamdroid app it tells me there is a connection error, has anyone come across this before? any help would be appreciated

    have you assigned a fixed IP address to your amiko ?
    Can you connect to the amiko box from your pc by entering the IP address into the browser
    Are you trying to connect over lan or wifi

    i tried connecting to the amiko box on the laptop by entering the ip address but it would not connect,
    i am using eir broadband could this be an issue?

    what Amiko are you trying to connect to
    is it by any chance the Alien 2 ?

    Ah i think that dreamdroid only works on e2 receivers ( enigma 2 ) a linux based operating system
    Where to the best of my knowledge the Amiko spiel is run on its own proprietary operating sys and not open source :-(
