Wall Insulation Solid Concrete

    Hey,

I live in a terraced ex Dublin Corpo houses that was built of solid concrete. We are looking to insulate the north facing external wall internally without taking too much off the wall. I'm not sure if a stud and roll solution is best or mechanically fixing something like kooltherm K18 directly to the wall would better suit. I'm mostly worried about condensation and causing damp. Currently there is neither but it can get cold. If using K18 should I install a vapour barrier directly to the wall first and if so should this be breathable?

    Any help would be great

    Thanks

Is the internal face of this wall painted/skimmed?

Yes. Currently just skimmed. Had wallpaper which has since been removed.
