one plus 3t broken screen

Yeah have the most expensive phone I have ever bought just one day and it fell and the screen is broken. Had ordered a case and waiting on it. I know it is my own fault but I have had many different phones over the years from samsung, moto, htc, doogee and never ever broke the screen even though I dropped them.

Is the one plus screen really that bad? I thought all phones came with gorilla glass now.

Anyway will open a support ticket with one plus and bite the bullet and get it repaired. Suggestions please for protecting it in future apart from a case.

Ive 3 friends with them, all have been dropped only one smashed. The otterbox is supposed to be good but personally i dont like that it doesnt have a hard edge protection , id be looking for a spigen ultra hybrid if they make one, ive had one on my Nexus 5 since launch (coming up to 4 years this year :eek: ) and its been dropped plenty of times hard and no damage, i also use a tempered glass protector.

If you could let us know how you get on with OnePlus, my friend is looking to get theirs repaired also.

Thought I had created a service request turns out I hadn't so had to go on live chat. Won't give me a cost except that screen costs about 57 euro so no doubt it will cost a lot more. Will wait and see

Pretty sure someone else recently posted an all in cost of €80 for the same repair.

Update quotation is 95 euro so happy with that was expecting it to be 200. Was a bit put out that I could not pay it by credit card had to do by bank transfer but hopefully all ok
