    Need help in buying this.

Cheapest place to buy? Should I go for 128gb? Is there a 64gb version?

    Cheers

Are these as good as new? Warranty and all that?

Had a look at the refurb store - the 128gb 9.7" is €689, I've seen them around €530, why is the refurb store so expensive (and not even new)??

You are looking at the Pro level and larger disc capacity.

You can get cheaper if you look again.

    Here for example.

    €100 off.

What more do you want? You're getting a fully perfect iPad.

Refurbs can be down to a change of mind about the purchase, as well as faulty. Apple can't sell as new, so they fit new screen and case and sell as refurb. Same warranty etc as new.

Secondhand is secondhand. This will affect the resale price.

Like a car, the year of registration means a lot, regardless of its condition.

100 discount is not enough. The Apple page gives the impression that these are 2014 models.

If so, they are worth less than half the cost new.

I don't really regard them as second hand. Refurbished is completely different.

You can't compare it to the cars, completely different market.

Also, all iPad Air 2 models are based are 2014 models. That's when they were released.

How they can still charge that much for a refurb is beyond me. I have an iPhone myself, won't have one next time.

As other users have said, Apple refurbs are a good deal. However, the cheapest models sell out quickly, so you need to keep checking back to get the one you want.

New iPads are rumoured for next month btw. Even if you aren't interested in the latest and greatest, the price of previous gen models including refurbs will drop after they are released.
