    iPhone 7
    Most up to date iOS.

Alarm went off as normal this morning at 7am.
Picked up phone and went to press an app and nothing.
Tried the usual, holding down power etc and the screen is black with the little spinner spinning since 7.05am!

In work so no access to iTunes or anything...

    Anyone come across this before?

Holding power and volume lower button may have just fixed it......

This is odd, I got up at 7, was downstairs about 5 past, picked up my 6s plus to activate Apple Pay and the phone went straight to the black screen with the spinning wheel, it only lasted about 20 seconds or so.

Probably the result of Apple Pay going live this morning.

Not sure if I read your first post right but that's the process to reboot an iPhone 7.
