I applied for taxback as i knew i was due some from last year. I got a letter stating how much i was due and a cheque would follow in the post. This is nearly a month back and still no sign, should i contact somebody or is this a regular delay?

I'm in no rush for the money but just wondering if there's a chance they've forgot or of it's been lost in the post?

Give them a ring and see has the cheque issued.

There's a chance the refund was held for verification
