Masters Programmes in Computing

    Hi all,

    I'm looking for some advice. I have a level 8 in Mech Engineering, got decent grades and I'm currently working and getting some experience. I want to do a masters, but the level 9 Mech Eng isn't appealing at all (I've had enough of all the applied maths for a while).

    I'm looking at two options;

    Applied Computing for Technologists.

    Higher Diploma in Computing (as a gateway to a computing masters).

    Has anyone got experience with either of these courses? I'm just looking for some specifics, like the good and the bad. Would it be silly to do a higher diploma in computing, would the computing for technologists cover largely the same stuff?

    Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!
