Will be going through ewes today to see what's closest to lambing, have 3 or 4 dry ewes in fairly good condition, what are good ewes making in Mart these days?......might let them off rather than have them eating nuts through springing ewes.

Wasn't at a mart in a wile but when you see them on done deal from 40-70 then things can't be 2 good in the ring. I got well paid last year for fat ewes that reared early lambs but must off been near end off June 100-110 for 80-85kg texelx ewes sold as fat ewes because off problems with feet and prolapses.

marts can vary but saw very well fleshed texel (not over big ewes) making 138

general run was 98 to 115, not many feeding ewes on offer,

Were they good sheep? Seems cheap for this time of year
