ESB Apprenticeship 2017

    I have just applied for the apprenticeship. Fingers crossed. I applied last year and only got as far as the aptitude test which I thought went really well. I put this down to only being in Fifth year and assumed they were only really looking for people who have completed or are in the process of completing the leaving cert.

    Anyway was just wondering if anyone applied last year and if so how far did you get?

    If you got to the interview stage? What questions were asked? Did it go on for long? How did you feel about it?

    Applied the other day and did the online tests there today. Fingers crossed we get somewhere :P any idea how long it takes them to tell you whether or not you have an interview?

    I think it's around June when you know if you get to the interview stage or not. That's a seriously long wait from now

    I got to the interview stage last year but didn't make it past it , I was shocked tbh because I thought it went really well , I just assumed they thought I was too young, I was 18. Interview was around 45 minutes and they ask a lot of questions about yourself and then some about ESB , if you make it to interview stage you'll receive an email that'll help you prepare for it and what you should be studing
