    In my experience it varies quite abit with each ewe, i.e. Breed, age and system all affect lambing process, the following link might have some useful info

    Assuming you are referring to what can be seen outside, that is the vulva. The internal passageway is the vagina.

    It can vary a lot. Some ewes here could lamb within 30 minutes others could be 3 hours. After 3 hours you'd want to be checking if the lamb is coming the right way or if there's something wrong inside in the ewe
