What apps are people using to measure battery status ,usage and charge rates and how accurate are they in general?

I installed accubattery just there and tried it with my note 4 and chuwi hi12 tablet. The charge rate is what I'm trying to get a gauge on. I've swapped both devices between 3 different chargers to see. The chuwi 3a charger. A 3a charger for a surface 3 and a Samsung fast charger (2.1 or 2.4 a I think, can't remember)

With the 2 3a chargers the app shows the note 4 charging at 1 - 1.1a. With the Samsung one and the phone showing that it's fast charging , it says 1.5a ish. The tablet shows around the1a mark with the 2 3a chargers. Can I assume the app just isn't accurate?

I use Gsam and that gives the charge rate too. I think it's the net charge rate btw.
I find it jumps around a little, probably depending on what the phone is doing itself in the background. I was able to verify that a couple of cables had gone dodgy with very slow charging.

Used to seem pretty accurate but on Nougat it doesn't display what apps are using what unless you modify something, so I haven't really used it in about 3-4 months.

Apps cant tell you any more. QC phones charge slower with the screen on.
