Can anybody point me in the direction of the regulations on where these can be placed in relation to each other?
I want to build a boiler house and put the tank on the roof.
    Thanks

I would write such an installation up as dangerous.
Have a read of this for some guidance

You are welcome. Your question isn't directly answered on the regs, but hopefully you got some guidance. Just be careful not to invalidate your house insurance.

It's just an ugly setup with the tank where it is. The house has no heating zones it's a 1975 bungalow and the insulation is good with improvements being made now sealing around all light answer sockets fixings there will be about 400mm of insulation when I'm done. Is a geothermal heat pump a crazy idea? We have the land at the back for horizontal collectors and I would prefer the heatpump than than the tank and boiler. Am I being crazy?
