Does anybody know why you can't place a stainless steel sink come draining board on top of a granite worktop. It always seems to be fitted from underneath. I notice there is no problem fitting a hob from the top.. There is no problem getting it fitted on a formic a top... why?

    Thanks jcro

I always thought under mounted sinks were used in stone for aesthetic reasons ..? Didn't assume it wasn't physically possible.

You can fit an over mounted sink no problem the under mounted sinks just look better you can get different coloured over mounted sinks as well now instead of stainless steel
