    Hey guys,

I've decided I would like stop using google Chrome and was wondering can anyone recommend an alternative web browser for android.

Ideally I'd like a browser that has a built in ad blocker and that doesn't collect as much information as chrome. I want something that is more focused on user privacy.

I see there are several options available such as dolphin browser, brave browser etc.

What's everyone else using and why?

Would love to hear your thoughts

    Thanks guys

Brave. Chrome base with ad block.

I use Opera which has some ad blocking as well.

... and I really like Flynx as well.

Another +1 for Brave browser. Only thing it needs is the ability to sync bookmarks from chrome itself but you can't have everything.

I use Brave too, irrelevant fact, their logo is strikingly similar to Salford City FC.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

I used Brave for a while and liked it but one thing bugged me, it wouldn't preview embedded tweets on boards.ie. Would anyone know a workaround for this?

Ya that's annoying, I just long press the link and open it in another tab.

Only workaround is to either open tweet in another tab or to temporarily turn off ad block when you want to view an embedded tweet.

Started using Brave myself specifically for the ad block function. As said, it would be great if you could migrate passwords direct from Chrome.

Brave includes a ad blocker? Great to hear.

I've found certain sites being deemed not safe on brave but still OK through Chrome. Anybody else have this? 1

Brave works great, probably the best browser with adblocker

You can turn ad blocker off on a site by site basis by pressing the brave icon to the right of the tab button.
