Hey folks,
I see Viber have added the feature to backup chats to Google drive. I know whatsapp have had this for a while and apps built in api 23 or something like this have are set to backup by default unless the developer switches the feature off. Great for when somebody switches to a new phone and wants to take their app settings and data.

Anyway, I noticed when taking a backup of somebodies phone I'm upgrading for them, it says this on Viber:

"please note that once your data is saved to the google drive, it is no longer protected by viber encryption"

What does this mean exactly? From what I read, backups are encrypted on Google drive anyway, so is there anything to worry about?

Any feedback would be great
