Legal Advice- Eir using my number

    Hi,
    Just wondering if someone could give me advice. About a year ago, I started receiving text messages regarding bills being due. I don't have an Eir account and dismissed the first text as a spam message. Once I was consistently receiving them I contacted Eir (have done at least five times since) to explain I don't have an Eir account and I wanted my number removed and was promised each time that this would happen. I have all chat transcripts from these calls. I continue to receive them and am expecting calls now as the latest bill of whoever is using my account is overdue.

    I have contacted Eir via boards.ie and they tell me there's nothing they can do about it and can't remove my number. Where do I stand? Eir are harassing me for no reason and won't help.
