ISTQB Foundation certificate exam

Hi folks, I'm currently doing an online ISTQB foundation course with a certified provider, however, he is based outside Ireland. Does anyone know if and how it's possible to take an ISTQB exam on your own, without going through companies like sqs, test triangle, etc. as they charge quite a bit for it. thanks in advance

Hi folks,
I'm currently doing an online ISTQB foundation course with a certified provider, however, he is based outside Ireland.

Does anyone know if and how it's possible to take an ISTQB exam on your own, without going through companies like sqs, test triangle, etc. as they charge quite a bit for it.
