Are there any magic the gathering players here? New or advanced?

Theres a boards game group in Athlone that meet up every 2nd Tuesday in the Sheraton Hotel. I'm not sure if they have magic the gathering there. I've been meaning to go myself. Heres the link for it https://www.meetup.com/Open-Game-Night-Athlone/

I live in Athlone and am also interested in Magic

I just recently started and would be interested in this

Also if you are new I just came across tcgireland.com that sorted me with cards to get started, not sure what the difference is in them all the packs but I followed a deck building tutorial online and could get a deck build together with what I received

Maybe Ghogie, we can organise a magic the gathering meetup and see how it goes. I would love to learn how to play it

There used to be a group out in the college iirc, might be worth checking with the clubs and soc's officer in the SU and see if a group is still running?
