Hi all, looking for a bit of advice, please. If one were to make let's say bibs in County colours with the 'born to be a Tipperary Hurler' writing on and a pic of two hurleys and sliotar, would that come under trademark regulations and would a license be needed to sell such items? There would be no image of any crest, just the colours, the name of the county and the image if hurleys and sliotar.

    Thanking you,

    Magiceye.

Only use of crest would land you in trouble :-) County colours are not trademarked.

Place Names cannot be trademarked unless they are being traded under and have a long history of such like Newbridge.

I think you are okay to print away.

Thank you very much for all your replies, I was worried about the hurleys/sliotar image and the colours, but I think I'll give it a go anyways and see how it's going to work out.

    Thanks again,
    Magic
