Paul townend has headed to musselburgh for one ride today in the 2:30 aboard Windshear - hes not particularly strong in the betting though, which is a bit of a concern. Any thoughts?

Hope nobody backed Bob Mahler in the 14.20 at Ffos Las. 1/3 shot, had the race won and was 50 yards from the line when the horse jinked and jockey went out the side door. Real sickener for anyone that backed it!

Paid out as a winner?? Surely "money back as a free bet" is the best you would get?

Nope paid out as winner on singles and multiples. Announced about 5 mins after race. They're generally pretty decent when it comes to things like this. One guy made a scene, binned his docket and left f'ing and blinding straight after the race. They announced they were paying out and another customer casually starts rummaging through the bin. First guy comes back in, sees the news on the screen and heads straight for the bin where the other lad has just located the docket . . . their exchange was interesting to say the least!

Happened a few Sundays on a 10/1 shot and they paid out as winner too. Cant remember the horse now.
