just wondering are many dairy farmers selling calfs this year for the first time

    just wondering is their many dairy farmers selling calfs this year where other years you would keep the calfs? just their seems to be alot of calfs for sale this year and i dont know too many that are buying them,i know a few dealers that buy for supply and they said they are hard to shift compared to other years i know all right their is more cows in the country,just curious is all

    just i see back our way lads that always keep their calfs,lads medium sized herds more of them seem to be selling them this year,wheres years ago these men would be buying calfs,just wondering if this trend continues what will be the outcome lets just say in a few years with all these calfs?

    For starters the plural of calf is calves, most dairy farmers keep a certain amount of calves for replacements and sell the rest.

    Right i will disect that first post........right lads, which one of ye is holding onto a lock of bull calves that i can buy as runners in May?☺
