    Is there anyway I can send and receive payments online with only email address shown?

    No the sender does not see your address for sure, the name I'm not sure. The receiver only sees the address if the money received is for goods, sender can decide not to include the address.

    A bunch of services with do that now.

    I've used the Circle app to send cash direct. You just need the recipients email address and nothing else. Very straightforward.
