Anyone ever seen or made a decent looking foot bath for disenfecting boots with a lid or something to keep the rain from diluting the solution.
Mats need constant freshening up and only barely do the boot soles regular buckets seem to fill up with rain water .

Seen one on ETTG one night on a chicken farm or something where he had a stainless steel footbath with a hinged lid which was connected to a rope on a pulley. Pull a handle on rope and lid opened to dip boots, leave rope go and it closed again. Probably not describing it very well but you get the gist. You could prob do something similar with a plastic 5 gal drum

Our footbaths are just inside the doors and are a mixture of old sinks and containers but I saw this one time and thought it'd be good outfarm-wise

    http://www.woodies.ie/wham-32ltr-wheeled-box-lid-pink-purple-1090119

It hinges in the middle and is about the size of two jerry cans layed on the ground on the large flat side.

    Don't work for woodies
    Never worked for woodies
    No affiliation
Buy stuff from there now and again

Wouldn't last. Foot would be out through it in no time. Plastic in those type containers shatters v easily

I use mineral lick buckets. The big ones that are about a foot wide. They are stronger than the normal ones and have a lid to keep the rain out.
