    Help!

I'm going to see Celine Dion in the 02 London in June. We are flying into stanstead at 9am the morning of the concert and fly out the next morning at 9am. We have the stanstead express booked. Where is the best place / area to stay ? It's going to be a busy 24 hours. The last train to stanstead is at 23.30 from Liverpool street but we are afraid if we miss this with crowds after the concert. Advice please ideally if we could put our heads down before the concert & be in stanstead at 7am

Where is the concert? London is a big place... Last time I stayed there I went for something really central and not too expensive. every-hotels.com in Piccadilly. It's 30 minutes from Liverpool street station on the tube though.

Hey TeaCup, if you were afraid of missing the last train to Stanstead, Id stay near enough to Liverpool ST (Bank/Liverpool St) and get the early train to stanstead the next morning, from what I remember they run pretty early as I used to fly at 8am from there and the train is the best option, few nice bars too around Liverpool St in Shoredritch so would be good after the gig!

They run every half an hour throughout the night.

Well you seem to have gotten what you need, even if it is the GAA forum.
OP, if you need further advice, I suggest the Travel forum here.
