Garda Vetting unsure if I need to disclose

Hi, going through two Garda Vetting processes shortly for some volunteering, however I'm unsure how to treat the following, or if it will show up.

When I was a daft 16 year old (25 years ago), I stole a small sum of money from a lodger who we had staying with us at the time. Gardai were called but on instinct and me being the idiotic young fella, they figured me out within a few hours. I admitted everything and got the fright of my life. I've never been in trouble since because of the fright I got. At the time the local Garda got things sorted for me, as he knew I was a mere gombean. I was fingerprinted by detectives, both to check for corresponding robberies in the area, but also to further reinforce the fright I was getting. I was supposed to be called in for a warning by the sergeant but that never happened, I never heard anymore after that or since.

Just wondering will this appear on vetting or is this one of those things that 25 years ago was dealt with locally by the local Gardai, or is it possible my prints will raise a flag with vetting.

    Thanks in advance

That wouldn't be on record as you were under age.

Not recorded as you weren't charged or convicted of a crime.

Have you been convicted of any offence since you turned 18?

    If yes: Declare all.

    If no: All is good.
