handheld Motorola mx1000

    Hi

    I have 6 old Motorola saber MX 1000 handhelds ,there x uk police radios since there gone digital now,

    So after looking and asking a few people in the USA they say they are a European radio but for the life of me can't find anyone to program them ,I was told you need a real low spec computer like a 286 PC anything higher and you will blow them ,I have the programming cable to do it but not the PC

    If anyone knows how I can get them programmed or who could do them that would be great

    I had them in that shop in town on the quays CQ communications but they had not got a PC that low spec

    Any help greatly appreceated
