Hi! Just wondering about where to gig in the city aside from the obvious Roisin Dubh. My girlfriend is just moving to the city and wants to figure out a few good places.

    Shop St.

If you're any good you'll get offered indoor gigs from there. Some choose not to take them because the money is better on the street.

Also the Róisín have a few different nights that are good. If she has original material look at curated nights like Citeóg and Mná Mná. There are open mics around the place too, where you just get up and play. Not sure if Garveys still do one?

'Play' on Monday evenings at the Cellar is a great place to network with quality musicians.
