Currently looking for a good deal on a power washer for periodic cleaning of a largish patio area (sandstone) and a bricked driveway. While passing Woodies I saw a customer carry out a Karcher so went in for a look and saw the K4 Premium Home "on sale" for €199

Popular brand and a decent selection of accessories but quite tall and disjointed looking. I then saw Lidl have a Parkside 2.1kw pressure washer on sale this week for €100

Any views on either or any other alternatives such as a Bosch offering good value?

woodies also sell the K2 compact which i guess would be fine for cleaning a patio, for a couple of bob less than the parkside one?

No competition in my mind. The Karcher is a much better piece of kit and a better investment.

Thanks, another factor persuading me towards the Karcher is that spare parts or additional accessories would be easier to source in future years plus it has a 3 year warranty however much trust you can put in that.

That said comparing prices to Amazon I see they have the Karcher K4 Full Control Home for £190
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Pressure-Washer-Accessories/K%C3%A4rcher-1-324-005-0-Karcher-K4-Full-Control-Home/B0198VLU14/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1488143258&sr=8-1&keywords=karcher+k4
But it looks to be a more modern version than the offering at Woodies with an LED display trigger gun and generally more compact looking despite not having the integrated reel of the Premium Home version.

I also notice Karcher are offering accessories apparently worth €100 for purchases of €200+ on Karcher Pressure Washers from K4 up until March 3rd so I think that'll be a clincher.

Vari lance, dirt blaster lance, patio cleaner, car brush, spoke brush....I use them all regularly.

To update, bought the Karcher K4 Full Control Home yesterday on Amazon and received confirmation from Karcher today that my purchase was approved for the complimentary accessory kit:

Sweetens the deal that little bit so anyone that's bought a K4 and up from 23rd Jan be sure to lodge an application.

Karcher are not a patch on what they were a few years ago. Particularly common faults are oil leaks and swash bearing failure.
