Wheel wear & alignment

My 2007 Kia ceed needs 4 new tyres as the tracking was off and now there is uneven tyre wear.

As I do not have the money right now to pay for the hole lot. I was wondering if I replaced the front two tyres and got the tracking done also but left the back two for another 3/4 weeks before replacing them, would the uneven wear on the back tyre knock the tracking back off by the time I'll be replacing the back two.

You really need the 4 new tyres on to get a good alignment done, dont go looking for tracking as there is rear adjustment on the kias too, you want a full alignment which will be a bit dearer

Ok thanks, i presume my garage will know that the Kia's have to be adjusted at the rear also, once I tell them that I want a full alignment... I dont want to get cheap tyres either, I usual get kormoran tyres for €70 a piece. What would be a better tyre to get in around the €100 mark?

If the Cee'd uses 195s or 205s, those are very common sizes - you should be able to find the top brands around the 100 euro marker with relative ease - Goodyear, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Michelin etc.

That said, Kormoran is an EU manufacturer (Polish, to be precise) and a controlled company of Michelin, they are usually quite a lot better than stuff like Triangle, Ling Long and such...
