I had advertised this before and as there was no interest I took it down. I recently had the hub into a Velocity A23 rim so I'm putting it back up in the hopes that someone may be interested in the entire wheel rather than just the hub. It's brand new and unused. The only rain it saw was on the way back to the car after picking it from being built. Comes with a Joule GPS which has seen about 2 weeks worth of riding and an unused Powercal HRM. All in it cost me about €700. Looking for €400. Comes with a shimano 11 speed freehub thats seen maybe ~30km.

Will throw in a second Powertap G3 wheel for €500 all in. Second Powertap has seen less than a year of riding. Bearings replaced recently and have a new 11 speed shimano freehub on order.

Would you take €250 for the wheel originally listed above?

If you mean the older one, would you be willing to stretch to €300?

What's the spec of the older one?

32 hole hub. Built up on the standard alloy Powertap rim. Not sure of the exact details of the rim to be honest though.

Is there much milage/use on the wheel, wear on the rim?

There's about 9,000km on the wheel. Got it middle of last year. Honestly, I'd imagine the rim would maybe do another 1,500 to 2,000 before having to build them up again. So there isn't much life left in the rim unless you want to just use it on the turbo. I haven't ridden it since I got the bearings replaced but I've just had a look at them there and they seem pretty rough so it may have to go back again to Paligap.

Are you saying the hub is unused, or just the rim? If new do you have a receipt for warranty? I have the same hub but they're out of warranty and the bearings are gone (because they're ****e) and will cost me €250 to replace with shipping etc. Could offer you €350 if the hub is new/nearly new.....

I'm all for selling my wheel but you can just remove the bearings yourself. I just bought a set of skf bearings for ~€30 and replaced them myself on another one of my powertaps. There's literally no difference between replacing Powertap bearings and a normal set of sealed bearings. If you don't have the tools, bring it to your lbs and they'll do it no problem. Just be careful to remove from the NDS as the magnet on the shaft will be pulled off otherwise.

They talk about having to recalibrate after changing bearings but if you're careful and don't start going mad pulling at any of the electronics I can't see why this is the case. If you're worried just do a stomp test. If you need more info let me know and I'll write a more detailed post and pm you.
