    Hi

Will be getting into heuston at 9am Tuesday morning. Need to get out to Northumberland Road by 10. Is my best option Luas to Connolly and then Dart to Landsowne Rd and then walk.

    Thanks in advance

Where on Northumberland Road? It's a long road, some of it would be easier accessed from Grand Canal Dock dart station.

And IMO it's actually quicker to get off the Luas at Abbey St. and walk across to Tara St - it's quite a hike form Busaras to the dart platform in Connolly!

Not sure if there are buses that would take you direct, but at that hour of the morning I'd be opting for the Luas/DART option.

Or if you fancied it, and there were any available, you could hop a Dublin Bike, there are stations all along the town side of the canal so only a short walk to your destination (depending again on which end of Northumberland Road you want).

I'd suggest any of the 25s or 66s from nearby Parkgate Street (stop 7078)

That will get you to Merrion Square. It's a short walk to Northumberland Road or change to the 4/7 on Merrion Sq to go on up Northumberland.

Thank you for the reply I'm going to something at no 5 Northumberland rd I don't know which end this is at. Unfortunately bike is not option.

Again thanks I'm kinda happier doing the Luas dart option as I'm more familiar with their operation and no exactly where to get off.

    That's the canal end.

So either the bus option offered above, or the Luas/DART (getting off at Grand Canal Dock) will suit you.

Thanks so much that's really useful so Luas to abbey street walk to Tara St and then dart to Gran Canal Dock?
