Bleaching fabric?

I have a light cream dress but I want to bleach it white to match other pieces of clothing that it currently doesn't quite go with.
    Thoughts/instructions?

I have accidentally splashed Bleach on clothes before and rather than being left with a white stain I'm left with an orangey or light pink stain.

I wouldn't chance bleaching a cream item unless you are okay with not being able to wear it again if it goes wrong.

If you want to try it anyway I would recommend adding about a cap of Bleach to a sink or bucket full of cold water and completely immerse the dress in it. Leave it overnight and then wash it as normal in the machine.

    Best of luck!

A lot depends on the fabric. Wouldn't do it if it's synthetic. Colour won't be pure white whatever you do. Will be patchy.

I would unpick a seam on the inside of the dress and put a single drop of bleach on a part that won't show to check what colour it becomes.
As stated above, if it's a synthetic or blended fabric there's little chance of it working.
Also bear in mind that the thread used to hold it all together may bleach to a different shade or may not change at all.
Very little chance of success tbh.
