Hi, a friend gave me a batt he couldnt return for credit at store. It was brought a year ago and never used..im going to top it up before putting in mazda, but someone said it may be too under powered for my car..the dimensions of batt are same but the one listed on halfors site has AH60 AND 450CCA..
one given to me is a exide excel eb442..
    Is AH44 and 420 CCA.
    Is that a major thing?
    Its to go in a mazda 5 2006 1.8petrol.
    Anyone know?? Thanks

It should work fine and you won't notice the difference as long as it is not damaged in the first place

It'll work fine and it was free. You may find it a little slower to start in winter in a few years time but for now it'll do the job fine.
