Probably the lowest price so far for this window vacuum cleaner, at least for this specific bundle and in stock at Argos atm. This is the WV5 version with exchangeable battery and a charging dock. The 'Non stop kit' also includes a spare battery, a cleaning bottle and a sachet of cleaning concentrate.

I grabbed one myself, although this is a bargain alert, not a product recommendation. Read reviews before pulling the trigger.

    Looks like it's gone.

Amazon were selling a very similar bundle for much the same price for a week in November and I didn't buy. Been waiting for a drop since ... might have to keep waiting!

Edit: Just found it (for some reason the link wasn't working) but out of stock everywhere near me.

Thanks OP. Might be able to get one on my travels during the week.

Tesco had the WV5 Premium for €24.50 last month. Clearance price but seemed to be a lot of them around. It didn't have the extra battery but did have an extra blade.

Have one , it's a piece of cr@p. Better off sticking to the wet sponge and squeegee method

I have one and it's the business (although not perfect).. Check out amazon, loads of detailed reviews there.

Got one in Sligo. The only one that was there. Moving into a new house so should have some opportunity to use it.

Careful in scraping the glass. Saw one review about that on Amazon that would be an epic fail for a tool like this.

Just my two cents, bought one of these a few years ago, cannot remember the price now, but I know we got it on a special at the time.

They are a handy job, very good for doing the inside of the car windows etc, and leaves the patio door spotless and streak free.

Just a heads up though, if left for prolonged periods of time between uses , i have found my machine doesn't like to work , initially i though it was banjaxed, until i looked up a possible repair for it.

Found one YouTube video where the bloke recommends dismantling it, and freeing a fan, giving it a blast of wd40.

I did that, and it worked again flawlessly, and the next time it seized i discovered that it wasn't necessary to dismantle it to be that the fan, as I could get at the fan with a screwdriver through the vents anyway, forcing it to turn a bit, then wd40 with a straw worked a treat. Prob 30secs max.

Just in case anyone experiences a similar problem. ;)

Reserved one in Blanch until end of today. Was a bit disappointed with the reviews afterwards but things are looking up :)

This is my second one, the first one died after six months, so these things are fragile. You don't want to go above the max line in the water reservoir and you certainly don't want to use it upside down with water above max - the water will get sucked inside and even if the unit doesn't die right away it will develop internal corrosion.
Also, just as with a squeegee or wipers, the blade lip wears out with time. It can be pulled out and rotated to double its lifetime, but it will require replacing at a point or won't be as effective anymore.

I borrowed my neighbour's one a couple of month's ago. Loved it until it stopped working mid-job. Was doing fine until it wouldn't turn on. Then it was turning on without being switched on. Left it on kitchen counter overnight and it came on during the night. Was not connected to charger. This was coming up to Christmas and they were full price everywhere, so finally asked neighbour when and where she bought it and if it had a warranty. Turns out it was bought in Woodies but she didn't have a receipt. She brought it back to Woodies and they replaced it with a new one after contacting manufacturer.

I read online that using is sideways can be a problem. and I had used it sideways on glass panels beside front door as wouldn't fit vertically. So maybe that was the issue and water leaked inside.

But I was impressed enough with it that when I saw the WV5 Premium on clearance in Tesco, I bought one for myself. I'm very happy with it, esp as this one came with full-size blade and a narrow one, so I can do narrow panes of window glass. It's excellent for cleaning the shower screen too.
