I am looking how to resolve issue in sun room there is about 8-10 of the windows which has constant condensation between the 2 panes.

I want to get them repaired. I seen some videos online about drilling a little hole in window etc?? anyone know if this works?

What is best way to repair? who would repair them as well?

    Thanks

If the condensation is between the panes then the seal on the unit has broken down.

The correct repair is to buy new units to fit in the frames.

Anything else is just pricking about to get rid of the condensation. It would not be a repair .. it would just be removing the unsightly condensation without fixing the problem. In fact it would probably make the windows perform worse!

    They're gone, no repair possible.

I'm in the same boat, all but one of the panes has gone now. I got a price for just 5 of them a couple of years ago, before the others had gone and even that was pricey, so didn't do it, which in retrospect was a good idea because I would have had to get them back to do the rest later.

You need to do the math here:
Window performance with air in the panel versus argon or helium or what ever?

Its not the same as SG

You will prolly pay a min of 300 euro a panel for replacement with a higher spec/wider gap gas filled panel but it really depends on the energy use in the sun room.

yes I know the condensation is not ver aesthetically pleasing but 3,000 shekels is a big number

Sorry I updated, it is not the roof but the room.....

It is sun room and I am not using at the moment, renovations and it is store room. When I get it done up(new floor in) it will just be used in warmer days as it is an ice box at the moment.

I am not concerned about the performance of the windows. The rooms is blocked off and as mentioned will just be used in warmer days, other days will be cut off to stop heat loss

Plan would be longer term to remove the glass roof and replace with standard roof and then I would replace the windows with issues....

For the moment the option of "pricking around" would do the job :P. Just want to remove the condensation as it looks messy in the room.....
