Email from Irish water

    We have paid our Irish Water account already and today out of the blue we received an email from this address: noreply4@irishwater.ie Didn't open it.  I know theres a bill attached.  should I just ignore it?  Never got correspondence from Irish Water by email before.  Always by regular post.

    Hi burkemg,

    Thanks for getting in touch and highlighting this to us.

    We have been made aware of emails being sent asking people to 'download a bill'. These emails are not from Irish Water and we recommend that you delete it immediately and to not click on the attachment or provide any financial information.

    We have also posted information about this on our website.
