Just wondering if anyone has heard what's going on in Galway Bay for the last two days. My house overlooks the bay and on Wednesday night the Dutch factory ship Afrika came into the bay, presumably to take shelter from storm Doris. On Thursday morning one of our navy ships (can't make out which one) had appeared about 1km away from her. Afrika has now spent all yesterday and this morning going back and forth over a 3 mile stretch in the bay with the navy ship shadowing her the whole time. As I write she has come to a halt and our guys have done the same. It's fun to watch but would love to know whats going on.

Hopefully it's a full inspection of the internals of the fishing system and not some PR check on the catch.

Very true. But I'm afraid to say I didn't see any boarding party and the Dutch ship has left the bay now in the last couple of hours.
