Bought this today. €109. It is not exactly a bargain as it is available at this price from other places, such as Amazon, but it is worth a mention as Lidl have a very good local returns policy.

It's a bargain basement Roomba. It doesn't have the clever room mapping, or "return to docking station" features, and it is also a bit noisy but it's not too bad.

    Thanks OP.

Any idea how much filters, etc cost?
    and where to get them?
Does it do a good job?
and does it have a three year guarantee?

how would it get on with carpet?

It doesn't really hoover, it just sweeps, so it'd be the same as sweeping the carpet. Kinda like a road sweeper

Purchased this two years ago at B&Q.
This alone doesn't replace vacuum cleaning entirely, but it does a good job of keeping a house with hard floors clean.

It's not a smart device like the Roomba. It's expected that you don't have obstacles like carpets or cables lying around, but it navigates around itself and can't fall off stairs.
It can't fully reach into corners but it's close enough to eliminate one or two regular vacuuming sessions.

We purchased it so we don't have to vacuum every other day because of our dog.
One charge lasts for one level of our house. Then it needs a few hours to recharge.
For the price, we're really happy with it.

Never had to swap filters or anything. The Vileda has a small "bin" that you have to empty. There are parts that need manual cleaning, but it takes like two minutes to clean the thing.

It comes with a few replacement parts. Like the small rotating brush and some other stuff. But I'm not 100% sure what they were. Never had to replace any part.

Usually I put it on the floor and choose the 30 min setting and do something else in the meantime. After 30 minutes I pick it up, empty the bin and put into another room. If you make it part of your daily or general cleaning routine it's really good.
For smaller rooms we use a handheld Dyson. It's just faster that way. The combination really makes it for us.
