Virgin Media Hub - Modem Mode + Tomato

    Anyone using this combination?
I have IPv4 provisioned by Virgin media on my VM hub (the white one) and I have enabled modem mode but my tomato router never seems to get a WAN IP.

The configuration in use is DHCP on the wan port - I assume this is correct?
Are there additional steps installed to get this working usually?

Hi Pelicannon. I'm not using the newer virgin media hub but I am using a Tomato router with an older virgin (UPC) cisco modem/router in bridge mode. Assuming you are not a VM business customer with a static IP address, then DHCP for the WAN is correct. Set the MTU to default and disable 'route modem IP' (ie enter 0.0.0.0). Disable IPv6, save and reboot both devices and you should obtain a WAN connection.
