Been to two Mr.Price stores(Ashbourne and Blanch Centre) and both have a coffee machine charging a euro.

You get about half a cup, there's about 8 versions of coffee, then hot chocolate and just hot water

I meant to get the name of the company as its not Mr.Price and cant see anything on google

    https://www.google.ie/amp/s/www.zomato.com/dublin/starbucks-swords/menu%3Famp%3D1

Coffee on average 4, maybe more with mocha etc
Half a cup or maybe sightly more 2
It's 1 in Mr price with no queuing

It's only a euro, but if you're getting our regularly it adds up, so to me it's a bargain

I wouldn't be using Starbucks as a yardstick to compare machine coffee prices tbh.

    What would you use then?

The nearest price in Blanch would be Supervalu in the village, 2 something full cup

    Maybe that's a bargain then?

Id class this more as a tip off if you are nearby to a Mr Price. McDonalds coffee is €2 and decent enough. Most shops, garages are about €2.50 and probably superior to what Mr Price is offering.

You can get a mocha or double shot or latte etc for E2-E2.50?

Suppose two questions are important here, which haven't been answered.
    1. Was it nice?
    2. Do you feel it was good value?

If the answer to both is yes, then welcome aboard the bargain train.

I had two different types and thought it tasted no better or worse than any other place.

Yes I do, handy to get a smaller cup to walk around to drink versus going in to a shop to get a full cup a sit in(I know you can take it away)

McDonalds coffee is €1 all the time... and it's decent

This is not a bargain as far as I'm concerned.

My local Lidl also has a coffee vending machine that charges €1. Can't comment on the size or quality as I haven't used it but it does seem rather popular.

It's €2 near me and €2.40 for a cappuccino, nice enough coffee.

Maybe it was just an offer at the time, i know it was just €1 a few months ago when I got it and $1 when I was in the States last week so just assumed it was always ~€1. Can't remember any further back than that so €2 may be the normal price.

You are 100% wrong in relation to Ireland.
