Hey, I'm looking to get the screen replaced on an iPhone 5C - it's a definite replacement as opposed to mere repair, as the LCD ink has leaked through the crack in the screen, rendering it totally distorted and unusable when the phone is powered on.

My local phone replacement place in Dun Laoghaire has quoted €50, but I've heard of it for €45 - is €45 the lowest it goes, and if not, where does it for less?

Finding it incredibly irritating how so many tech repair companies only give a price on request, despite the fact that a screen replacement must be one of the most common and routine repair jobs there is when it comes to smartphones

+1, I was passing one near me and went in and asked on behalf of 2 friends, I was not sure what phone they had, yer man just rattled off loads of prices but had no print out. I could not find a list online either, really odd, especially as they are supposedly "techy"

Anyway, I see one on adverts saying €40, but its in Clonee
