The linked image for the baptism Olive Irene May Pelly (first entry) is incomplete and scratched out. Any ideas why this would be?

Hermy I've seen a a few times, but usually there is a margin comment e.g. "see entry on PageXX" or something similar. In this case I'd guess it was an error -there is no line number nor is the address nor priest's name nor sponsors registered. Have you checked the birth against the GRO records?

It's a strange one all right.
She was born in Killeen Road, Rathmines on July 31st 1899.
As with many of the extended family her three older siblings were baptised in St. Kevin's, Harrington Street but I couldn't find an entry for her there.

Killeen Road is closer to Clondalkin, near the Red Cow. It may have been in a subsidiary parish of Rathmines at the time. but I would look into other parishes, not all of them are on irishgenealogy.ie.

I too was previously only familiar with the one in Clondalkin but there's also a Killeen Road between Ranelagh and Rathmines.
It's a wee cul de sac off Belgrave Road not far from Beechwood Luas stop.
