Do Amazon use Asendia for expensive items?

I'm looking to buy an item from Amazon for E200 but I've heard all the stories about the courier company Asendia. Has anyone bought an expensive item off Amazon and the courier company used was Asendia? I'm hoping they steer clear of them for items over a certain price. Thanks

I've ordered a few high priced items in the order of €200 from them recently and those have come either by An Post or Nightline.

While Ascendia leave a trail of destruction in their wake, they arent very common. I order 1-2 times/mo and havent had them in at least 2yrs.
