How to remotely access files from tablet?

    I have lenovo tablet and would like to remotely access some files from tablet to my galaxy s7 phone. I don't want to download the files to my phone. I downloaded ES File explorer but it's not working out. Both tablet and phone on the same WiFi connection.
    Please anyone can help?

    Have you tried Airdroid?
    Install it on the tablet then you can browse to the tablet from your phone
