    Hi,

Had a dead ewe this evening.

Lambed yesterday morning, cleanings out and lambs lively.

She was in great fettle this morning, noticed in the pen at 3pm two large patches of runny scour, 2 more patches 2 hours later. Went down at 6pm and by 7pm was dead.

Any ideas? Someone had mentioned too much meal?

I think I'd be taking some elementary hygiene (including human ones), disinfection and quarantine precautions if a scour can kill that quick with no obvious cause.

Salmonellosis comes to mind. You could consider getting a PM done.
