    Hello all

Can anyone explain to me what is the difference between the above 2 in terms of entry requirements for someone from pool B. The former is grade vi and the latter grade vii.

I am considering applying to the civil service and have a finance masters plus 7 years of private sector work experience including at management level.

There is not a huge amount of difference between the above two in terms of starting salary albeit grade vi would provide only a very marginal pay rise to me were I to be successful.

Basically I do not know where I should be pitching myself!!

I feel exact same way. Actually considering applying for two posts as I cannot differentiate between them. May look desperate but I at a loss as to the experience they require.
