Mens Jeans - Looser Fit

I've been looking for a new pair of jeans for quite a while now, but have been completely unable to find any suitable ones in any store I've checked. The two pairs of jeans that I like are unfortunately reaching the end of their life, and the type aren't available from the brand any more (recent types are all "skinnier").

I'm a fairly regular size (from what I thought). I usually go for 32" waist with 32" legs, but I find most jeans are too tight around my thighs, especially with anything in my pockets. I happen to have a 5.5" phone and a large e-cigarette, and generally have to take my phone out of my pocket when sitting in "regular" jeans.

What I'm looking for are a pair of jeans similar to "Smith and Jones Jeans - Fabio". You can see them below with some measurements (these were standard 32" jeans):

[Apparently I can't post links because I'm a "new" account - registered in 2014. The image is available on imgur at /a/aROPG]

Does anyone have any brands/types of jeans, or shops that I can check out? I've tried most of the usual suspects without luck and want to find a good pair without spending days checking every shop I come across.

I've tried a few different types of Levi's without success. Is there a type that fits the measurements above? I've heard people on here mention 501's before.

Gap often have loose fit jeans. Have you tried there?

    Yep 501s that's your man.

I'll have a look in the Levi's store on Grafton street for 501's then.

Haven't tried The Gap either. Next time I'm in Dundrum I'll check there too.

Levi store in Kildare village has tons of different shapes for 32" 32". Atheltic is quite lose around thighs.

You know...I never thought to check out athletic fit jeans. That's a great idea!

I was in a park in Romford on Sunday. The guy at the shop counter next to my wife was wearing a pair of bootcut levis. When the wife came back, I said "I bet you a fiver that bloke is Irish"......she said she had no cash on her!

Anyway, as said above Gap are good for a slightly looser fit in some of their styles. I picked up a few pairs of straight jeans in the holister sale last week, they're not especially loose but I liked the fit, legs and arse contained but not squished to death - £17 a pair was a bonus too

Know nothing about fashion etc, so apologies in advance if I'm talking bollix...

I'm a 32/32 and wear the Wrangler jeans with elastine or whatever it's called in them. Makes them stretchy and very comfy! Won't wear anything else since I discovered these :)

They come in a few styles, my mrs insists I wear bootcut whatever that is ....... hope that helps OP :)

Avoid bootcut at all costs. You can go for a straight or relaxed fit, many makers of jeans have these options. Just don't go bootcut.
