I returned from Canada on September 3rd and started a lvl5 QQI course on the 15th September. I was unable to get the back to school allowance as you need to be on the JSA for 3 months prior to starting the course. I had no means of making money while studying so I stayed on the JSA. I just received a letter saying I'm being investigated. Anyone know what the outcome might be? I'm 27 if that makes any difference

You will have to pay back money owed.

Yeah your JSA will be stopped and an overpayment for the amount paid to you since you started your course will be issued. No more, no less. You'll be grand.
