Appealing a fine

    Hi all

I received a fine in the post yesterday of 150 euro for dumping litter.
It happened on the 30/12/16 and my wife brought clothes to the clothes bank which was full, so she left the bag with all the others on the ground that people had left.

Technically dumping i supposed but pretty annoying as It's obvious what she was doing.
I'm just wondering if anyone had a thoughts on appealing the fine or is it just a waste of time?

What grounds would you appeal on, you were dumping and you got fined for doing so.

If I remember rightly there is a notice on the bins/bin areas that if they are full to come back and try another time etc but to not leave anything lying around??

You answered your own question. What grounds would you have to appeal?
