    Planning to start some racing next month. Do I have to wear club shorts when racing or could I wear a pair of (non club) bib pants if the weather is poor?

    no, as long as you have your race numbers clearly identifiable on your jersey you can wear whatever shorts you like.

    Cheers, how about the jersey if it's bad, can I put numbers on a jacket?
